Mr. Sports
The gun looking thing on the right is a Zing Toys Zvclone, which I highly recommend as a last-minute Father's Day gift!! Eric is wearing the ring part on his head, in a strange game of 'fetch.' I don't know, I just live here :-)

A Thankless Job
Eric's teachers seriously must think I am the most absent-minded parent there is, as they have been giving me reminders for various things I need to bring in. Last night, I (very lovingly) packed his sleeping bag (it's camping week), signed permission slips for summer field trips, a picture for a project they are doing, and a change of clothes to replace ones he had messed up. This is what I found on the floor when I came home:
Sigh.
Sigh.

Day in the Park
More like 30 minutes in the park, because it was ridiculously hot and humid, but still a good time!
Eric, looking like he is up to no good
(he's really good at that look!)

Strawberry Picking
I realize my posts are becoming fewer and far(ther?) between, so I'll make up for it with multiple pictures :-) No seriously, I need to get over the chaos that has been my family's life for the past month and get back on track with this. In the meantime...
The angry strawberry picker
Between the crooked hat and the gap-toothed smile,
he makes this picture a keeper!
he makes this picture a keeper!

I think Eric is trying to be a strawberry?

Both kids smiling with the fruits (ha ha!) of their labor.
And yes, I realize you have to look at two pictures to see both kids smiling.
Sometimes that's how life works.
