Rhyming Dust Bunnies

This one of the new books in our bedtime story collection, and Eric loves to read it to anyone who will listen. It's hilarious when he says "No Bob, ... does not rhyme with ..."

No, I did not put my seven-year-old on a train by himself...not quite willing to be THAT free range of a parent (yet). He's just hanging out in the back of a fire truck (at a birthday party, we did not do anything to deserve the fire truck coming to our house. Yet.).

Emmett, sit!

I'm sure our neighbors think we have traded our youngest child for a dog based on the number of times a day we say "Emmett! Sit!" But no, the two-legged cutie is still around, and using every opportunity to climb onto chairs (and tables).

Chocolate is yummy!

I love how Eric pronounces chocolate...it comes out more like "chaw-co-let." And he's probably the only kid I know that will decide, halfway through a mini ice cream sandwich, that he has had enough chawcolet, and put it down. Don't worry, we didn't waste food, I ate the rest ;-)

Good - I got a new camera lens today. Yay!

Bad - My first subject was Eric after he fell out of the car and (lightly) scraped his face on the sidewalk.

Better - We had brinner. With bacon.

Funny - Emmett in his TV coma :-)
